A Fishy Dinner

Me on the way to meet my Chewy. :3
Yeah, I'm so rarely without my makeup! (look at those eye bags (ToT))

Was supposed to go for a game of badminton with Takeshi and Chewy. But Tak woke up too late that we decided to go for dinner. This is the first time I step into Fish & Co (I know I'm sua ku can..)
I had the Garden Salad (Note: I'm not on diet. The reason being that Chewy bought me for my favourite yoghurt before the dinner.

Chewy was a lil' hungry and me being as greedy as I ever was, we went for the Seafood Platter for 2. -YAY!- It looks big, but no.. IT'S HUGE. Like beneath all the prawns are rice and the portion of fries are just nice. (Although we didn't finished it as Chewy was having his usual Seafood allergic reaction and couldn't eat anything in contact with the Prawns) I love the prawns and would eat more if my tummy could take them all.. And oh ya! There were like squid rings which were super juicy and yummy too.. (too bad they were hidden under the mussels in this picture.)

And this is Tak's share. I totally forgot the name, but it had something to do with Salmon and sides being the fries and mash potato. I didn't get to try both. But it looks good too!

Bunny Birthday Card Tutorial

My handmade card to my BFF for her 21st! I love making cards for people I love! I find it more meaningful and more unique as compared to those that you get off shelves from stores. Those off shelves are just not enough to express myself to those important people whom may be receiving them. This will be my first tutorial for you people out there (and also for me to remember how I made it in case I forgot!)

These are the materials that you would need:
(sorry, not all of them are inside as I already finished making the card before I decided to make a tutorial on it)

  1. Cut out of a Bunny (or any other animal that you desired)
  2. Card stock, preferably 100GSM & above
  3. Felt cloth, big enough to fit your cut out
  4. Scissors
  5. UHU glue
  6. Laces
  7. Pom Pom Balls for the tail
  8. Ribbon flowers (for decorations, may replace with others decoration if desired)
  9. Alphabet Stickers
Method:
(Sorry again that I do not have the process in pictures, but I'll do that soon!)
  1. Sketch out the bunny on a piece of paper. I use the pictures print out from my computer and then draw according to them.
  2. Take a piece of felt and position the cut out on it and then proceed to cut the felt.
  3. Take one of the Pom Pom Balls and slightly flatten it with your hands. Stick one side with UHU glue and paste it onto the felt cut out. Leave to dry.
  4. Fold the card stock into half. (Most of them come in the standard size from the craft shop) and cut out 20cm x 14.5cm (single side).
  5. Stick the bunny onto the card using the UHU glue. I glue one side of the felt first, then I adjust to the position I want and I then glue the other side.
  6. Stick on the decorations onto the bunny. I choose flowers and lace ribbons to give it a more elegant country feel.
  7. Proceed to stick the message using the alphabets stickers inside the card.
This is how mine looked like:

Hope you'll have a fun time making yours too! :)

Happy March Day

I just cut my fringe that day. It was getting in the way all the time, and I decided to try out bangs. Meh, I guess it's too sweet for me. Even Bf is not used to how my fringe looked like. ―(T_T)

I went down to Wastons today again. They were having 7% discount storewide! WHEEEEE! ヘ(^_^ヘ)(ノ^_^)ノ I didn't know that either! Was really surprised when I paid for the Otona
Lashcase. I couldn't decide which version to get in the first place! The original version with pink and black
polka dots were really cute too!

The original kyushu ramen from Tampopo. Bf decided to come to this place for lunch! The ramen was good and he decided to order a plate of this:

Salmon salad! Eeek, I hate the skin wrappng around the salmon and the vegetables. Its thick like er.. plastic with no taste? ( ̄へ ̄)

Bf's dessert! Milk pudding! It was really really nice. How I envy how bf always choose the 'correct' delicious dish (may it be main course/dessert/sides). This pudding is so soft that it melts in the mouth. I would definitely go back for another bowl!  No wonder Tampopo is well known for its dessert!

I had another slice of my last year's birthday cake, the scoop cake from Tampopo. The taste hasn't change! Just the way I like it to be. \(^ ^)/

We went for a movie and it was time for dinner at Thai Express!

Bf ordered this Spicy Tomato fried squid. The taste was normal. Like any other fried items coated with tomato sauce. (I couldn't taste the mild spiciness in it until Bf told me)

We shared the Green Curry with Chicken chunks. The first time they gave us a wrong order which had all the vegetables in it. So I casually told bf that the person on the next table also ordered the green curry but with vegetables in it. The next thing we know, the person on the next table was served with the Green Curry with vegetables. I guess it's coincidence uh.

And.. This is my favourite for now! Loy Chang dessert. Its something like Chendol, but the chendol strains doesn't taste like those that were sold else where. It was mild and not salty like the ones sold in the other stores. On my 'favourite list' too!
