10 items that I don't have

Aloha everyone! This is me with the super messy hair! I am now still in Hong Kong, so I have come up with this  to entertain those who read my blog.

10 items that I do not have at home! :D (Ok, this may sound 'so what' right, but all I could say that my family is really traditional so I do not have most of the items that you guys would think that its a must to have it)

Here it comes:
  1. A microwave oven. My uncle said that it's bad to eat radiated food, so we don't have any. So there goes my microwave crafts.
  2. A deep fryer. My grandma had one at her house. But my aunt prefers to fry food using the wok.
  3. Coffee Maker. This goes to the normal ones, not even the espresso kind. When  my granddad was around he cooked them with kettle over the fire.
  4. Toaster. Yeah, we dont have one. We toast it with the oven toaster.
  5. Grill. Just don't have one.
  6. Electrical stove.
  7. DVD player, who needs these when you have a laptop/desktop.
  8. Air conditioner, meh.
  9. Dryer. Clothes dryer I meant.
  10. Double boiler. We used to have it, but it's spoiled.
I realised everything here are electrical appliances. Oh well...

Product Review: Canmake Mashmellow Powder

This came from part of the gift from Chewy for our 6th Monthsary! Wheee! (I chose my own gifts though)
The Canmake Mashmellow Powder! Wahahha.. I didn't read any review or any recommendation before I bought it. (Like I usually do) I went to the Canmake counter and took a little swatch off its tester and I immediately fell in ❤ love with it. O(≧∇≦)O Its so fuwa-fuwa (soft soft)!

Like its name suggested, it is a finishing powder which you add on after ur makeup/ during the day to maintain your makeup. It also state on the packaging that it can be removed with any normal cleanser. There are also moisturising agents which prevents the skin from drying out.

The inside of the finishing powder. It isn't as glamourous as the outside but still cute. I am not too sure if there's any smell as I am currently down with a bocked nose. =x

The sides of the case. Really pretty and elegant right?

And the oustide of the case. So pretty much! (and yeah ignore the tv reflection on the case)

Dr.Marten's 1460's White

Hello everyone! I should be in Hong Kong by now! \(^ ^)/
I am currently travelling around with Kaya till March 27. So please do not miss me too much!
I'll be bringing back much goodies for my darlings. Wait for another week I'll be right back.
Meanwhile, keep reading my blog. I have some post-dated posts which will appear over the week...

Meanwhile for today,

Remember the Dr.Marten's boots that my Chewy bought for me that I mentioned in this post
Its time for me to show you guys how it looked like!
(I'm currently wearing this on my trip...)

ta-da! I love keeping you guys hanging... :3 meowww

OH-LALA~~  It's white! Hehe, Chewy and I decided that white would be most suitable and sweetest for me. We felt that black is too common although it would be perfect for someone rough and careless like me as the polishing wax could easily cover up all those scratches.

But no matter how we look at it, we finally decided on the white colour pair.

The side view. As told, I'm supposed to walk in it (like everyday) to make sure that it is seasoned. (so it wouldn't hurt as much when I try to walk in it) I also found out that I couldn't wear the normal thin ankle socks that I always wore for my pumps. Only the super thick cotton kind would work. I got 3 pairs of them from Dear on the first day I was wearing it. (I was telling him how hurtful it was for me to walk =x)
Thank you my Chewy! Love you always. Please be patient and wait for me to come home soon!

I saw a Greedy Stingray

For our 6th Monthsary, we went to the Underwater World in Sentosa! -Yay!-
Chewy was reluctant to take his photo but I snapped one anyway. Muhahaha. Love you chewy! :3

Chewy took this for me. But I think my face looked horrible so I covered it up with a Hazelnut. Apparently, the nut fit perfectly well. :D

I took a lot of photos when I were there.  But most of them turned out really blurry due to 1) I am standing on the travelator which never stopped moving, and made me felt like some sushi on conveyor belt. 2) I brought along my compact camera which the shutter speed is too slow to catch the swimming fishes 3) The fishes were swimming. (Duh) -.-

And this is my favourite picture of the day. I didn't photoshop it and I totally love the luminous colour of the jelly fishes against it's deep blue waters.

There was also a touching pool there for the visitors to touch the small sharks, small stingrays and other fishes. I was real timid so I went to touch the forever-not-moving-star-fish. LOL. It was like touching a tongue.

We stayed in Sentosa the whole day and went for the Pirates 4D Magix  and the Cine Blast! It brings back memories from the time when I was younger. =/ awwww...

Then it came dinner when I was super hungry and munched on some snacks in Sentosa x=

We went to this Japanese Gourmet Town (like the one in Plaza Sing) in Vivo City.  As usual we will (and always will) order the age-dashi tofu in any Japanese restaurant that will serve it.

Chewy had the Okonomiyaki (which the restaurant called it as Okos) set served with mushrooms and tau-gei, rice & soup. I kinda like his Okos but the rest were just normal food, nothing much awesome.
2.5/5 Stars

And here comes my Yakisoba (焼きそば) which was really cheap. It was like $9.90 but they were having a promotion which made it cost like $6.90. The meat in the yakisoba tasted weird, so I gave them up and ate the noodles instead. A little saltly but still ok.
3 /5 Stars

And this is my 6th monthsary gifts from Chewy! :D
Thank You -bow-!

The Ship

We went to 'The Ship' for Sunday Lunch with Chewy's family. This is the first time I'm going there but from what I've always heard from them, its really a great place to dine in for its steaks. I choose not eat beef and went for Hawaiian Pork Cutlet. Every set meal comes with a Soup and Bread&Butter.

My Hawaiian Pork Cutlet. Haha, it does look delicious, doesn't it? :) My 'salad' was leafy vegetables which differs from the rest that has chunky ones like carrots and broccoli. :( The pork was a little tough and not really tasty. I would rate 3/5 overall.

We went to Amk central after lunch as I needed to get some items for the Hong Kong trip. And also, I was too vain so I to fix my eyebrow. I prefer eyebrow threading as compared to shaving with a knife blade as they removed all the fine hairs and can last longer.

Toodles!

Meh, I love my double eyelid in this picture.

Movie Dates

I had my PSRP award ceremony yesterday and Chewy met me after it for lunch! :D WHEEEE. I was telling him how painful it was to be in heels for the whole morning and how we had to tend the booth while the others went to eat. -.-

As usual, Chewy was too shy to look into the camera. Oh yeah and the super big bowl in the middle's our favourite side dish known as the ' 揚げ出し豆腐 Agedashi dōfu ' which means fried tofu. The secret to eating it is to eat it once its served. A few minutes later, the skin will turn all soggy and taste disgusting.

We had awesome lunch at Ichinban Sushi. We ordered the rice set (which came with 2 rice bowls, one with salmon and the other with Unagi in Egg and also a side dish of soft shell crab). Oh-oh, and also the Chawanmushi & Miso Soup all for a reasonable price.

Today we met out for a movie again with Takeshi & Yoshi.

I can't remember the name of this drink, but it doesn't taste too bad. Oh yeah, that's Takeshi in the background.

This is my 1/4 chicken! Wheeee! I totally love it together with my side lines of potato salad and meridian rice. I had my chicken with Extra Hot Peri Peri sauce.  But it always not enough that I prefer to dip them in the bottled sauce that came with it. In the end I took home one bottle of the sauce. Muhahahaha.

And this is my Magnetic nail polish! LOL. I kinda love it but it started to look weird as the day past by.

A Watami Treat

Chewy and I took a cab down to school which cost us $17 to collect a school badge for an award ceremony. (Cause we left at 5pm and my school counter closed at 6pm)
My Chewy bought me to Ion today before sending me home. We had Watami for dinner!
Muahahha, actually no la. I was cheated that we were going to have Soup spoon. Which made me happy for awhile. And then when we were there, Chewy and I were so hungry that we decided to go for something heavy.

First, we have Salmon Sashimi. This one is definitely fresher than the one we had yesterday at the lao di fang. I totally love the lighting at Watami! It makes all the food so appealing. We also ordered the Mentai Potato Salad, (which I remembered taking the photo but it was gone) They gave us a thing for mashing up the potato salad on our own, so you can decide whether you want it really soft or with bits and pieces inside.

My kiwi tea with agar was filled with ice cubes. It was refreshing, but oh well... I wouldn't recommend it for anyone though.

With that we had the Potato Mochi served with butter cubes. Its mochi wrapped in mashed potato and then deep fried. I had one and then past the rest to Chewy. I guessed it's too oily for me. ( ̄へ ̄)

Sapporo Miso Ramen, Chewy said it looked more like vegetable noodles. In the menu it stated that there were minced meat in it, but I didn't get or taste anything of that sort. Just noodles in hard vegetables broth.

Nyahahah! Chewy loved their Zaru Soba just liked me! MEHEHEHEH. Zaru Soba for the win! -YAY- *dance around*

ok-ok, this one I have to find the name. It's something known as 'Salmon Capaccio' it came with some spice on top. Chewy liked it without lemon juice while I love the taste of lemon on fresh Salmon. It's extra refreshing. Nevertheless, the Salmon slices tasted as great as ever.

We then had a plate of Maguro Sashimi (Tuna), I had a slice and find Salmon Sashimi tastier and gave the rest to my Chewy. (I skipped the photo cause I was too engrossed eating my Mentai Potato Salad

And our desserts! I had Milk Pudding & Chewy had Coffee Jelly. Frankly speaking, I love the Tampopo Milk Pudding better than the one here. The one here is a little too hard (not soft like when you put it in your mouth and it will melt). Chewy's Coffee Jelly is great but just a little too bitter for me. (>o<)

We then went into Sephora to buy M.A.C cosmetics for Gmaine and myself. Yay! I got the $40 voucher for spending $240 in Sephora. And I bought the eye shadow and liner that I always wanted.

and ta-da!

Chewy bought me LOVE MACARONS from TWG.
Actually, we were supposed to share, but Chewy found it too sweet and gave the whole box to me. HEHE.
We had 2 Bain de Roses Tea (light pink), 1837 Black Tea & Black Currant (dark pink), Moroccan Mint Tea (green) & 2 Earl Grey Fortune & Chocolate (brown).

I love all of them! But I find the Earl Grey one (I love Earl Grey Tea) and the Black Currant one best!

I Puke Tuna

Chewy and Me (with my unusually neat hair). It's my loveliest BFF's 21st! Happy Birthday! My dearest Gmaine! It's really great to have you as a friend (But I love you more than a friend, my sister!) No matter what happened, please feel free to talk to me. I'm more than willing to listen and help you as much as I can.

We on to our now 'lao di fang' Japanese restaurant near Dear's house for lunch.
I kinda love that place more and more. Dear had Cha Soba (Which I personally doesn't really like, as I prefer Zaru Soba) I was hungrier than usual and couldn't wait till Tak came before I start on my Kastsu Curry Rice.

We order the famous Shio Saba (Which dear had like 2 or 3 plates that day). It was one of the Signature dishes of that restaurant. And the thing that it isn't expensive at all! (I realised my Katsu Curry Rice looked like some Char Siew Curry Rice)

and then something unexpected happened...

I PUKED MY TUNA. I know it sounds disgusting but... ☆⌒(>。≪)
IT WASN'T FRESH! Its like eating er... raw fish left out in the air for more than 5 hours. It wasn't tasty, it just tasted disgusting. It made me hate Tuna Sashimi for awhile.

We went on to Orchard to grab my M.A.C blusher and looked around for a while before heading to Gmaine's. I was curious at what Dr. Marten could have carry at this season and went up there with Chewy and Tak. And guess what...
.
.
.
.

I came out with this!

.
I didn't intended to get any, but I was tempted by all the shoes & boots in the store. And best of all, it was a gift from chewy to me! I wanted to pay for it, but Chewy said he wanted to buy it as a gift to me.
 THANK YOU!!! ヘ(^_^ヘ)(ノ^_^)ノ
I shall post the shoes another day! (Most probably during March 19-27 when I'm in Hong Kong)

A Fishy Dinner

Me on the way to meet my Chewy. :3
Yeah, I'm so rarely without my makeup! (look at those eye bags (ToT))

Was supposed to go for a game of badminton with Takeshi and Chewy. But Tak woke up too late that we decided to go for dinner. This is the first time I step into Fish & Co (I know I'm sua ku can..)
I had the Garden Salad (Note: I'm not on diet. The reason being that Chewy bought me for my favourite yoghurt before the dinner.

Chewy was a lil' hungry and me being as greedy as I ever was, we went for the Seafood Platter for 2. -YAY!- It looks big, but no.. IT'S HUGE. Like beneath all the prawns are rice and the portion of fries are just nice. (Although we didn't finished it as Chewy was having his usual Seafood allergic reaction and couldn't eat anything in contact with the Prawns) I love the prawns and would eat more if my tummy could take them all.. And oh ya! There were like squid rings which were super juicy and yummy too.. (too bad they were hidden under the mussels in this picture.)

And this is Tak's share. I totally forgot the name, but it had something to do with Salmon and sides being the fries and mash potato. I didn't get to try both. But it looks good too!

Bunny Birthday Card Tutorial

My handmade card to my BFF for her 21st! I love making cards for people I love! I find it more meaningful and more unique as compared to those that you get off shelves from stores. Those off shelves are just not enough to express myself to those important people whom may be receiving them. This will be my first tutorial for you people out there (and also for me to remember how I made it in case I forgot!)

These are the materials that you would need:
(sorry, not all of them are inside as I already finished making the card before I decided to make a tutorial on it)

  1. Cut out of a Bunny (or any other animal that you desired)
  2. Card stock, preferably 100GSM & above
  3. Felt cloth, big enough to fit your cut out
  4. Scissors
  5. UHU glue
  6. Laces
  7. Pom Pom Balls for the tail
  8. Ribbon flowers (for decorations, may replace with others decoration if desired)
  9. Alphabet Stickers
Method:
(Sorry again that I do not have the process in pictures, but I'll do that soon!)
  1. Sketch out the bunny on a piece of paper. I use the pictures print out from my computer and then draw according to them.
  2. Take a piece of felt and position the cut out on it and then proceed to cut the felt.
  3. Take one of the Pom Pom Balls and slightly flatten it with your hands. Stick one side with UHU glue and paste it onto the felt cut out. Leave to dry.
  4. Fold the card stock into half. (Most of them come in the standard size from the craft shop) and cut out 20cm x 14.5cm (single side).
  5. Stick the bunny onto the card using the UHU glue. I glue one side of the felt first, then I adjust to the position I want and I then glue the other side.
  6. Stick on the decorations onto the bunny. I choose flowers and lace ribbons to give it a more elegant country feel.
  7. Proceed to stick the message using the alphabets stickers inside the card.
This is how mine looked like:

Hope you'll have a fun time making yours too! :)

Happy March Day

I just cut my fringe that day. It was getting in the way all the time, and I decided to try out bangs. Meh, I guess it's too sweet for me. Even Bf is not used to how my fringe looked like. ―(T_T)

I went down to Wastons today again. They were having 7% discount storewide! WHEEEEE! ヘ(^_^ヘ)(ノ^_^)ノ I didn't know that either! Was really surprised when I paid for the Otona
Lashcase. I couldn't decide which version to get in the first place! The original version with pink and black
polka dots were really cute too!

The original kyushu ramen from Tampopo. Bf decided to come to this place for lunch! The ramen was good and he decided to order a plate of this:

Salmon salad! Eeek, I hate the skin wrappng around the salmon and the vegetables. Its thick like er.. plastic with no taste? ( ̄へ ̄)

Bf's dessert! Milk pudding! It was really really nice. How I envy how bf always choose the 'correct' delicious dish (may it be main course/dessert/sides). This pudding is so soft that it melts in the mouth. I would definitely go back for another bowl!  No wonder Tampopo is well known for its dessert!

I had another slice of my last year's birthday cake, the scoop cake from Tampopo. The taste hasn't change! Just the way I like it to be. \(^ ^)/

We went for a movie and it was time for dinner at Thai Express!

Bf ordered this Spicy Tomato fried squid. The taste was normal. Like any other fried items coated with tomato sauce. (I couldn't taste the mild spiciness in it until Bf told me)

We shared the Green Curry with Chicken chunks. The first time they gave us a wrong order which had all the vegetables in it. So I casually told bf that the person on the next table also ordered the green curry but with vegetables in it. The next thing we know, the person on the next table was served with the Green Curry with vegetables. I guess it's coincidence uh.

And.. This is my favourite for now! Loy Chang dessert. Its something like Chendol, but the chendol strains doesn't taste like those that were sold else where. It was mild and not salty like the ones sold in the other stores. On my 'favourite list' too!
